O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to direct the second respondent to furnish copy of the enquiry proceedings as directed by the Central Information Commission vide his order dated 16.10.2007, so as to enable the petitioner to submit application under Section 25-A of the Indian Railway Disciplinary and Appeal Rules, 1968.

2.The petitioner submitted the application on 16.10.2007. However, the writ petition is filed in the year 2014 and almost 14 years lapsed from the date of receipt of submission of the application by the petitioner. On account of efflux of time, the relief sought for in the present writ petition cannot be granted.

3. However, the petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh application before the competent authority, if any grievance exists as of now. If any such application is submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law, the competent authority may consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

4. With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
