The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to select the petitioner for appointment to the post of P.G. Assistant (Commerce) for the year 2011-2012 conducted by the Teachers Recruitment Board, in the light of G.O. (Ms.) No.27 Higher Education (K2) Department dated 13.02.2014 by treating M.Com. (Co-operative Management English & Tamil Medium) as equivalent to M.Com degree.

2. Today, when this matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that due to efflux of time, the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication. 3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
