ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.Suresh Kumar J.) Sub Application No.974 of 2024 has been filed by the petitioner seeking leave to the petitioner to file a contempt petition against the respondents for the alleged disobedience of the judgment passed by this Court in W.A.No.2390 of 2018, dated 27.03.2024.

2.Heard Mr.K.Venkateswaran, learned counsel appearing for the applicant, Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for R1 to R3 and Mr.R.Bharanidharan, learned Standing Counsel appearing for R4.

5/8 3.In fact, the judgment dated 27.03.2024 is a common judgment passed in a number of writ appeals, where directions have been given to issue notice to the parties to the said proceedings and decide who are all the genuine persons. 4.Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the HR & CE Department/Temple Authorities on instructions would submit that the hearing was going on for several months and ultimately, the hearing has been completed on 09.09.2025 and orders would be passed soon.

5.Insofar as the present petitioner is concerned, it is not a party to any of the said lis, which is covered under the said judgment dated 27.03.2024. However, by virtue of our directions, not only a party to the lis, but also any interested parties, if they come forward to make their suggestions or representation can also be heard. Notice has been given to the present petitioner also and its view also had been heard. When that being the position, under the guise of an interested party, it cannot seek leave from this Court to file a

6/8 contempt petition as if the judgment of this Court dated 27.03.2024 has been wilfully disobeyed or not complied with.

6.Therefore, the present application in Sub Application No.974 of 2024 deserves to be dismissed and accordingly, it is dismissed. As a sequel, Sub Application No.975 of 2024 is also dismissed. Consequently, the contempt petition is closed at the DR stage itself.
