O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the first respondent to consider the appeal of the petitioner dated 02.05.2013 against the order in Mu.Mu.No.995/2013/F dated 04.04.2013 passed by the 2nd respondent and pass orders within a time frame.

2. The counter filed by the 2nd respondent reveals that the 1st respondent remitted the matter back to the 2nd respondent for reconsideration of the request of the petitioner. Thus, the 2nd respondent has to consider the request made by the petitioner with regard to issue of certificate stating that the petitioner is a destitute widow. However, the writ petition was filed in the year 2014 and the present status of the appeal is not brought to the notice of this Court.

3. Under these circumstances, it is for the petitioner to pursue the appeal, if any pending, before the competent authority. The counter filed by the 2nd respondent reveals that the petitioner is not entitled for the destitute widow certificate on merits. However, if any appeal is pending in this regard, it is for the petitioner to pursue the matter in the manner known to Law. If no certificate is submitted by the petitioner for the purpose of securing employment, then all appropriate action is to be initiated by the petitioner in the manner known to law.
