This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.289/2023 and file the final report within a stipulated period of time. 1/4

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents police submitted that the investigation has already been completed and the charge sheet has also been filed and the same has been taken on file in S.C.No.137 of 2024 on the file of the I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Cuddalore. Now the case is posted for trial.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent police and also perused the materials available on record.

4. Since no adverse order is being passed against the second respondent, notice to the second respondent is dispensed with.
