ORDER

This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed in Para No.7(1) "that the petitioner/accused No.1 is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.20,000/-, with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Coimbatore", in C.M.P.No.867 of 2026 dated 22.04.2026.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was enlarged on bail by the Court below on 22.04.2026, in C.M.P.No.867 of 2026 with a condition to execute a bond for Rs.20,000/- with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Coimbatore. He would further submit that the compliance of the above condition is more difficult for the petitioner. Instead petitioner is willing to produce a blood sureties and execute a bond for Rs.10,000/-. The learned counsel also submitted that the recovered contraband is only an intermediate quantity, weighing 8.2 kg of Ganja.

3. Considering the totality of the circumstances, the condition imposed on the petitioner in Para No.7(1) in C.M.P.No.867 of 2026 dated 22.04.2026 is modified as follows:

"Petitioner / A1 is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties (out of which one shall be a blood surety) each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Coimbatore".

4. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is ordered. 01-06-2026 ep
