The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation dated 14.09.2020 submitted to rectify the mistake by removing the name of K. Ramesh Babu, S/o. Krishnamurthy from T.S.No.18 to the petitioner's https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Plot No.22 to an extent of 2240 sq.ft in Door No.84, Manickam Street, Block No.54, Ward E, Salem Town by rectifying the mistake in all the revenue records in view of Salem Town Survey Field Measurement Book (FMB) sketch.
2. Mr. A. Bharathi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that to rectify the mistake crept in the revenue records, the petitioner has given a representation dated 14.09.2020, however, the 2nd respondent has not considered the same yet.
3. Mr. E. Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the 2nd respondent had already issued a notice calling upon the petitioner to appear for enquiry on 24.12.2020 and further submitted that the 2nd respondent would conduct enquiry and pass suitable orders in accordance with law.
4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.09.2020 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
