ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondent herein to consider and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law on the representation of the petitioner dated 17.06.2024 and accommodate the petitioner at the existing vacancy at Block Education Office, Thirupananthal, Thanjavur District.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. Already the petitioner approached this Court by way of writ petition in W.P.No.21879 of 2023. This Court, by an order dated 25.07.2023 directed the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner, if any vacancy arise in Thanjavur District for his transfer.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that as directed by this Court, by the communication dated 20.03.2024, the second respondent stated that as of now no vacancy is available in Thanjavur District and whenever any vacancy arise, the case of the petitioner will be considered.
5. Now, by an order dated 11.06.2024, one Superintendent from Block
Educational Office was transferred to Ariyalur district. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation to consider his case in the said vacancy by transfer.
6. However, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the vacancy has been filled up and whenever any vacancy arise in future, the case of the petitioner will be considered.
7. In view of the above submission, if any future vacancy arise in Thanjavur District, the case of the petitioner may be considered by giving first preference.
8. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
