Respondent Petition filed under Section 11 (4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, to appoint an arbitrator for the respondent, as well as a third arbitrator, in terms of the License Agreement dated 06.10.2010 entered into between the petitioner and the respondent, for the purpose of adjudicating upon the dispute that has arisen between the petitioner and the respondent.

O R D E R
Learned counsel for the parties have produced a copy of the joint memo filed in C.S.No.83 of 2016 on the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
original side of this Court and states that the disputes forming subject matter of C.S.No.83 of 2016, O.A.No.67 of 2016, O.P.No.106 of 2016, be referred to the sole arbitration of Justice F.M.Ibrahim Kalifulla, a retired Judge of the Hon'ble Supreme Court and the arbitration may be held under the aegis of the Madras High Court Arbitration Centre.
2.In view thereof, I appoint Mr.Justice F.M.Ibrahim Kalifulla, a retired Judge of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, as the Sole Arbitrator to enter upon the reference and adjudicate the disputes inter se the parties. As requested, the arbitration proceedings will be conducted under the aegis of the Madras High Court Arbitration Centre and the parties will be governed by the Rules of the Centre.
3.The original petition is, accordingly, allowed, leaving the parties to bear their own costs.
