(through video conference) The Petitioner and the Respondent have filed a joint memo dated 17.09.2020 signed by the parties, which reads as follows:- "

The Petitioner and the Respondent have amicably settled the issues arising in W.P. No. 20045 of 2018 and a Settlement dated 17.09.2020 under Section 18(1) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 has been entered into between the parties. agreed to file copy of the Settlement before this Court and request the Hon'ble Court to take settlement on file and pass appropriate order in the above case. It is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to take the Settlement dated 17.09.2020 on file and pass appropriate order in terms of the said Settlement in W.P. No. 20045 of 2019 and thereby render justice."

The copy of that settlement dated 17.09.2020 has been produced, which is placed on record.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed in terms of the aforesaid settlement dated 17.09.2020 entered between the Petitioner and the Respondent. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
