A.No.3023 of 2022 KRISHNAN RAMASAMY, J., This application has been filed to grant leave to sue against the respondents 1 to 6 since they are residing outside the jurisdiction of this Court.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the applicant. According to the learned counsel for the applicant, the applicant Company is registered within the jurisdiction of this Court. The major cause of action arose out side the jurisdiction of this Court, where the false, defamatory, inflammatory and abusive tweets have been published by the respondents in their websites and the tweets and posts are viewable and are indeed being viewed by the thousands of users of the Social Media Platforms of the respondents within the territorial jurisdiction of this Court. He would further submit that a part of cause of action arose within the jurisdiction of this Court since the registered office of the applicant is located within the territorial jurisdiction of this Court while 1/3
the damage and injury to the reputation of the applicant on account of the publication of false, defamatory and abusive tweets and posts had taken place within the territorial jurisdiction of this Court and hence, he seeks to grant leave to sue the respondents 1 to 6 which are situated outside the jurisdiction of this Court.

Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the applicant and since a part of cause of action arose within the jurisdiction of this Court, this Court is of the view that it is a fit case to grant leave to institute the suit against the respondents since the respondents' Offices are situated outside the jurisdiction of this Court. 4.Accordingly, leave is granted.
