Heard Thiru.A.K.Jayaraj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Tmt.Hema Muralikrishnan, for the respondents.

2. With the consent of both the sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal.

3. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to release the Stocked Goods Viz. approximately 50 Cartons of Toy Twist Car, 100 Cartons of Toy Baby Chair, 30 Cartons of Toy Ball, 200 Cartons of Garment Accessories - Glass Beads, 50 Cartons of Wood Cutting Blade, 10 Pieces of Mini Cloth Washer, 100 Cartons of Baby Wipes and around 50 Cartons of Assorted Fancy Lights, by lifting the restraint order made by the respondent on 29.04.2016 from the petitioner Godown Premises M/s. Sabari Logistics Ambattur High Road Puzhal Chennai.

4. The learned counsel for the respondents submitted a copy of the letter sent by the Appraising Officer, SIIB, to the petitioner, dated 12.7.2016 wherein it is stated that the competent authority has approved for the release of the goods detained vide detention notice dated 29.4.2016.

5. The said communication is placed on record and the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.20306 of 2016.
