ORDER

The petitioner being a lawyer had filed an application for appointing him as Notary in the Central Government. The respondent by a letter dated 09.01.2014, has returned the petitioner's application stating that the application was incomplete and requesting him to submit the attested copies of the B.Com Decree Certificate and LLB Decree Certificate.

2. The petitioner has replied on 24.02.2014 stating that he has completed 5 years integrated law course (B.A., B.L.,) and he has never studied Bachelor Decree and LLB Degree Course and therefore, he is not in a position to produce the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

B.Com Decree Certificate and LLB Degree Certificate. He has obtained only B.L., Decree Certificate of integrated course. No reply was forth coming. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider the application made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders either accepting or rejecting the application viz., appointing the petitioner as Notary to the Central Government, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
