PRAYER:Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records in connection with the charge memo Tha.Koo.No.19/2001 dated 08.03.2001 passed by the 4th respondent herein and the order of punishment Tha.Koo.No.19/2001 dated 02.11.2001 passed by the 3rd respondent herein and the order of rejection on appeal C.No.D2/AP.6/2002 dated12.02.2002 passed by the 2nd respondent herein and the order of rejection on mercy petition D.Dis.265554/API(1)/2004-3 dated 22.01.2006 passed by the 1st respondent herein and quash the same, consequently direct the respondents to extend all service benefits including increment and promotion.

O R D E R

The learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that during the pendency of the writ petition, the writ petitioner reached the age of superannuation. In spite of his efforts taken to contact the writ petitioner, the learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to contact the writ petitioner and as last known address is also not available. 2.In view of the fact that the learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to secure instructions with reference to the developments occurred after retirement of the writ petitioner, he is unable to get along with the case. 3.Taking note of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent authority/appellate authority, if any grievances exists with reference to the terminal or retirement benefits or with reference to the punishment imposed as the case may be. 4.With this liberty, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
