Respondents in both petitions Common Prayer: This Writ Petition filed under Section 226 of Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Certiorari calling for the records of the 1st respondent culminated in G.O.Ms.No.36, Department of Revenue and Disaster Management dated on 05.10.2010 in the Gazette of Puducherry and the consequent G.O.Ms.No.62, Department of Revenue and Disaster Management dated 02.03.2011 in the Gazette of Puducherry, in so far as the schedule mentioned property and quash the entire acquisition proceedings.

For Petitioner in both petitions : Mr.K.M.Aasim Shehzad For Respondents in both petitions : Mr.J.Kumaran Additional Government Pleader(Pondy) Common Order These petitions are filed by the petitioners challenging the land acquisition proceedings dated 05.10.2010.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that during the pendency of these petitions, the petitioners received the compensation amount and the payment has been made through ECS vide cheque no.034003, dated 23.02.2021, for a sum of Rs.95,88,603/- and further this Court may direct the respondents to furnish the award copy to enable the petitioners to workout their remedy for enhancement of compensation in terms of Section 64 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Re-Settlement Act, 2013 and recording the same, this Court may close these writ petitions.

3. In view of the above, these Writ Petitions are disposed of and the respondents are directed to furnish the award copy to enable the petitioners to workout their remedy in the manner known to law. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
