Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to give proper orders to the 3rd and 4th respondents herein to provide adequate police protection for free ingress and egress of vehicles and people from in and out of the petitioner's factory premises, namely, Proteck Machinery Private Limited and the other companies inside the premises at No.15, Medavakkam Road, Sholinganallur, Chennai - 600 119.

ORDER

The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to give proper orders to the 3rd and 4th respondents herein to provide adequate police protection for free ingress and egress of vehicles and people from in and out of the petitioner's factory premises.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
