ORDER
This writ petition has been filed challenging the notice issued by the second respondent dated 24.05.2024, thereby calling upon the petitioner to submit explanation on or before 10.06.2024. 2.
Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.
It is seen that the petitioner filed the present writ petition on 01.07.2014, challenging the show cause notice issued by the second respondent. Therefore, the writ petition has been filed after expiry of the time granted by the second respondent. In fact, the petitioner sent communication dated 03.06.2024, seeking certain documents for verification to reply for the show cause notice. On receipt of the same, the second respondent issued reply dated 21.06.2024, thereby permitted the petitioner to inspect those documents which were already sought for by her to submit reply and the petitioner was also granted time for submitting her explanation on or before 03.07.2024. However, the petitioner failed to inspect the documents which were sought for by her and failed to submit any explanation for the show cause notice.
Therefore, the Tashildar convened meeting under Section 205 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, on 09.08.2024 and also submitted report before the first respondent.
4.
Considering the above facts and circumstances, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the show cause notice issued by the second respondent and the writ petition is devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no orders as to costs.
