This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C praying to call for the records in Crime No.777 of 2021 on the file of 1st respondent pending investigation and quash the same.

ORDER

Today, when this criminal original petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent police submitted that the investigation of the case in Crime No.777 of 2021 was completed and the Final Report is also ready for filing before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Alandur. However, the police has not yet filed the Final Report since this Court vide its order dated 03.12.2021 in Crl.M.P.No.10368 of 2021 stayed the further proceedings in Crime No.777 of 2021.

2. Recording the above submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this criminal original petition is closed and the first respondent police is directed to file the Final Report immediately, before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Alandur. Liberty is granted to the petitioners to challenge the said Final Report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Alandur. It is needless to state that the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Alandur shall take the Final Report on file, if it is otherwise in order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
