The Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent-Police to investigate and trace the petitioner's missing son Jitendar M Ranka and file a final report in Crime No.81 of 2025.

2. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police, on instructions, submitted that the investigation in Crime No.81 of 2025 is under progress and the respondent-Police are monitoring the mobile signal of the petitioner's son and that lastly on 29.05.2025, the mobile signal shows that he was in Varanashi.

3. It seems that though the case was registered on 15.05.2025, the respondent-Police is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report as expeditiously as possible

4. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
