Respondents Prayer :- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd, 3rd and fourth respondents to survey and give compensation by way of passing award at Rs.2,500/- per sq.ft. with interest for acquiring the petitioner's land in survey No.121/3 in Pakkam Village, Thiruvallur Taluk, Thiruvallur District for constructing the canal root.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd, 3rd and fourth respondents to survey and give compensation by way of passing award at Rs.2,500/- per sq.ft. with interest for acquiring the petitioner's land in survey No.121/3 in Pakkam Village, Thiruvallur Taluk, Thiruvallur District for constructing the canal root.

2. When the matter was listed on 28.10.2021, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Therefore, the matter was ordered to be listed on 01.11.2021 under the caption "for dismissal". Even today i.e. 01.11.2021, no one appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

3. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No order as to costs.
