The relief sought for in this writ petition is to call for the records of the respondent in connection with the impugned charge memo issued by the first respondent and quash the same and grant such other relief.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondents made a submission that the charges framed against the writ petitioner in proceedings dated 27.05.2014 has been dropped. In this regard, the Government has issued G.O.(Pa).No.981, Home Department, dated 23.08.2018.

3. Thus, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed.
