With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to survey the land in Survey Nos.72/2 and 72/3 to the total extent of 1 acre at Suriyampalayam Villae, Erode District, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. The case of the petitioner is that he purchased the subject land to an extent of 1 Acre at Suriyampalayam Village, Erode District on 06.07.2010 and the revenue authorities have also issued patta in his favour. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has given an online application to the respondents to survey his land and to mutate the revenue records by paying requisite fee, the same has not been considered by the respondents till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the online application of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the same, after giving notice to the 2/4

neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
