This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner for patta transfer dated 15.03.2024 and dispose of the same in accordance to law within a time stipulated by this court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that she purchased vacant lands in Survey Nos.103/9, 103/11 and 103/12 situated at No.204, Chinna Irumbedu Village, Thiruporur Taluk, presently Chengalpet District by way of a sale deed dated 11.12.2007 registered as Document No.8886 of 2017 from one Veerasamy and others. The petitioner gave application for transfer of patta for the lands purchased by her and patta was transferred in respect Survey No.103/12 alone and hence she has sent a representation for patta transfer Page 2/4
dated 15.03.2024. As inaction on the part of the respondents, this writ petition has been filed.

Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.03.2024 for transfer of patta, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to any other interested persons. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
