The petition for transfer is filed to transfer I.D.O.P.No.451 of 2019 from the file of Learned Family Judge, Cuddalore to the file of Principal District Family Court Judge, Chennai.

2. The Marriage between the petitioner and the respondent was took place on 30.09.2019. The respondent filed an application for Dissolution of Marriage under the Indian Divorce Act. The petition for Divorce was filed in I.D.O.P.No.451 of 2019 before the Family Court at Cuddalore.

3. The petitioner states that she is the resident of Chennai and the respondent has been working in Sify Technology, Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai. However, the respondent filed the Divorce Petition in Cuddalore in order to harass the petitioner. The petitioner states that she could not travel to Cuddalore frequently to represent the case as her parents are also ailing from various oldage diseases.

4. In view of the facts and the circumstances, the I.D.O.P.No.451 of 2019 is now pending on the file of Learned Family Judge, Cuddalore stands transferred to the file of Principal District Family Court Judge, Chennai.

5. Accordingly, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition No.510 of 2020 stands allowed and I.D.O.P.No.451 of 2019 pending on the file of Learned Family Judge, Cuddalore is directed to be transferred to the Principal District Family Court Judge, Chennai. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
