Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to promote the petitioner as B.T.Assistant at Panamarathupatti Union, Salem District and to consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 herein to promote the petitioner to the said post with retrospective effect from the date of promotion of the respondents 4 to 6 and to grant her all consequential service and monetary benefits.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first to third respondents herein to promote the petitioner as B.T.Assistant at Panamarathupatti Union, Salem District and to consequently direct the first to third respondent herein to promote the petitioner to the said post with retrospective effect from the date of promotion of the fourth to sixth respondents and to grant her all consequential service and monetary benefits.

2. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first to third respondents had produced Proceedings in Na.Ka.No.653/A1/2015 dated 22.12.2022 stating that the petitioner herein had given representation to the Department stating that she is withdrawing the present Writ Petition and does not press for any promotion. On that basis, the Regional Educational Officer, Salem has issued the said Proceedings dated 22.12.2022 to the Government Advocate. In view of the withdrawal of the representation by the petitioner as stated above, nothing remains for further consideration in this Writ Petition.

3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs. 27.09.2023 Index:Yes/No kv
