The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the respondents to allow him to continue as Sericulture Worker till the completion of 60 years as per FR 56 (i).

2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that during the pendancy of this writ petition, the relief sought for in this writ petition has been granted to the petitioner and hence, nothing survives for adjudication.

3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
