ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 1 st respondent to deal with the petitioner's representation dated 30.05.2023, wherein the petitioner is seeking for revocation of the passport issued in favour of the 2 nd respondent.

2. The learned Senior Panel Counsel appearing on behalf of the 1 st respondent submitted that the passport was issued in favour of the 2 nd respondent after conducting a proper enquiry and after obtaining a report from the police. There is a matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and the 2 nd respondent.

3. It is not necessary for this Court to go into the issues raised in the present writ petition and it will suffice if a direction is given to the 1 st respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 20.06.2023 and take a decision in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to the nd respondent, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This writ petition is disposed of, with the above terms. No costs.
