Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo dated 19.01.2021 on behalf of the petitioner to the effect that the representation of the petitioner has been considered and an order passed on 08.01.2021, which render this Writ Petition infructuous. The petitioner has also stated that they have deposited a sum of Rs.15,00,000/- and paid customs duty of Rs.16,79,937/- and is now willing to remit the differential duty by way of cash deposit instead of bank guarantee. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Mr.T.Pramod Kumar Chopda, learned Senior Standing Counsel, on instructions, accepts the request.

3. Upon remittance of cash deposit covering the differential duty, fine and penalty instead of bank guarantee and executing a simple bond for an amount of Rs.1,27,82,972/-, the consignment covered under bill of entry 8546807 dated 21.08.2020 will be released forthwith.
