This petition has been filed for a direction directing the trial court to return the original documents marked as exhibits B1 to B20 in O.S.No.142 of 1997.

2. The petitioners are respondents 1 and 2 in SA.No.216 of 2004. The second appeal was preferred as against the judgment and decree dated passed in AS.No.133 of 2002 dated 30.09.2003 confirming the judgment and decree passed in OS.No.142 of 1997 dated 04.10.2002 on the file of the Additional Sub Court, Chengalpet. The second appeal was heard and dismissed by this Court on 09.07.2018. On verification, it is found that the records of the trial court were already returned back to the trial court, viz., Additional Sub Court, Chengalpet in OS.No.142 of 1997.

3.Considering the above, this civil miscellaneous petition is allowed, and accordingly the trial court, namely Additional Sub Court, Chengalpet is directed to return the original documents marked as exhibits B1 to B20 by the petitioners in OS.No.142 of 1997, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
