ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by G.R.Swaminathan J.) Heard both sides.

2.Even though there is no definite proof that the petitioner's mother is of Puducherry origin, it is a fact that pursuant to the Court orders, N.Kaniyamuthan was issued with a community certificate during the previous year. 3.We therefore direct the respondents to issue the community certificate this year also, but of course with a rider. Merely because such a rider has been incorporated, the authorities will not decline to treat it as a proper community certificate.

4.This writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
