[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J] This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to produce the petitioner's daughter, viz., C.Rasiya D/o.Chinnadurai, aged about 23 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that his daughter C.Rasiya went missing from 13.08.2021 and the police are not taking effective steps to secure her.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State submitted that based on the complaint of the petitioner, a case in Olakkur P.S.Crime No.436 of 2021 for 'woman missing' was registered on 26.08.2021 and investigation is in progress.

4. In view of the above, we direct the Additional Superintendent of Police, Tindivanam, to supervise the investigation in Olakkur P.S.Crime No.436 of 2021 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when the detenue is secured, she shall be produced before the Judicial Magistrate I, Tindivanam, under intimation to the petitioner. On such production, the learned Magistrate shall pass appropriate orders.

With the above direction, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
