J.
The petitioner namely Amir @ Amirthalingam, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.02.2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b) and 307 IPC in Crime No.90 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, petitioner is falsely implicated in this case in Crime No. 90 of 2023 for the offences under Sections 294(b) and 307 IPC. Petitioner is in judicial custody from 13.02.2023. Petitioner is innocent. Thus, he prays for grant of bail.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) opposes this petition, on the ground that, defacto complainant was attacked by the petitioner, with a broken beer bottle and caused serious injuries. Petitioner has 15 previous cases pending against him, including offence under Section 302 IPC. He further submitted that, investigation in this case is completed and charge sheet is filed. Therefore, he prays for dismissal of this bail petition.

Considered the fact that, petitioner has 15 similar cases pending against him, including offence under Section 302 IPC, possibility of his committing similar offences and the threat to the witnesses cannot be ruled out. Thus, this Court is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.
