..Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records relating to the detention order in Memo No.Rc.No.91/2023/M6D.O.No.19/2023 dated 15.06.2023 passed by the 2nd respondent under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's son the detenu Suriyan @ Samuvel, aged about 26 years, now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Rc.No.91/2023/M6-D.O.No.19/2023 dated 15.06.2023 detaining her son as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents submits that the order of detention has been revoked by the Advisory Board vide G.O.Rt.No.3978, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department dated 21.07.2023.

3. Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
