Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records in respect of conducting the meeting to be held on 27.10.2004 in Na.Ka.A1/02/04, dated 28.09.2004 on the file of the third Respondents, quash the same and direct the second and third respondents to stop all further proceedings in respect of the meeting to be held on 27.10.2004 and subsequent days. O R D E R

The petitioner, who was the then Vice President of Maruvathur Village Panchayat has filed the present Writ Petition, challenging the conducting of the meeting on 27.10.2004 for "No Confidence Motion".

2. Initially, this Court passed an interim order of stay and subsequently, it was made absolute. However, in the Local Body, in which the petitioner was elected as Vice President has already come to an end. Thereafter, fresh Local Body Election https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

was conducted and new office bearers were elected. Hence, in the writ petition nothing survives for adjudication. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No Costs.
