This application has been filed to condone the delay of 6 days in filing the written statement in TOS.No.39 of 2023.

2. In the affidavit filed in support of this application, it has been stated that the written statement of the first defendant should have been filed on or before 14.03.2024 and the written statement of the defendants 2 and 3 should have been filed on or before 19.06.2024. It had been further stated that the applicants/ defendants were under the impression that the written statement could be filed only after the plaintiff pays necessary Court fee. Owing to that, there was a delay.

3. In view of the fact that every party should be given an opportunity to make submissions, this application is allowed. The Registry may take on record the written statement filed by the applicants / defendants. 04.07.2024 gsk C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.
