O R D E R

Heard Mr.V.Bhiman, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.S.Ramesh, learned counsel for respondents 1 to 3.

2) By an order dated 12.11.2012, the second respondent cancelled the patta, which stood in the name of the petitioner and further directed the 3rd respondent to hold a proper enquiry and transfer the patta.

3) Aggrieved by the said order, the petitioner filed an appeal before the District Revenue Officer/first respondent on 12.12.2012. When the petitioner has already challenged the cancellation of patta order, dated 12.11.2012 before the first respondent, he cannot simultaneously challenge the said order in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

this Court by way of a Writ Petition.

4) Under such circumstances, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to expedite the appeal filed by the petitioner on 12.12.2012 and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also directed to send a copy of the said appeal along with a copy of this order to the 1st respondent.

5) With these directions, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
