ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner states that her husband, who was an Ex-serviceman was granted assignment of Government land. However, the petitioner now seeks patta. Her grievance is that even though the Tahsildar issued patta, it was cancelled by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Coimbatore South and the revision filed by her before the 1st respondent is yet to be disposed of.

3. The learned counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu respondents states that since the details have not been furnished, he is not able to make any definite statement.

4. If the writ petitioner's revision petition is not yet disposed of, the respondents are directed to dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.
