Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the entire records of the second respondent pertaining to the impugned candidates called of provisionally selected candidates posts for Junior Bailiff list published on dated 27.01.2023 in connection with the selection process for the Notification No.160/2022 dated 24.07.2022 in so far as petitioner is concerned by the second respondent for the posts of Junior Bailiff and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the second respondent to appoint the petitioner in vacancy arose in the Junior Bailiff post based on the communal reservation and priority.

[ORDER OF THE COURT WAS MADE BY S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The Selection List for appointment to the post of Junior Bailiff published on 27.01.2023, is under challenge in the present writ proceedings.
2. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that she is eligible to avail the quota provided for BC (Muslim). Further, the petitioner is eligible to avail the First Generation Graduate Quota. Since the candidates, who secured lesser marks than that of the petitioner are selected, the present writ petition came to be instituted.
3. Mr.B.Vijay, learned counsel for the respondents would oppose the contentions raised on behalf of the petitioner by stating that the petitioner has not applied under the BC (Muslim) category and therefore, she is not entitled to claim the benefit of quota earmarked for BC (Muslim). More-so, the petitioner scored 87 marks and not within the zone of consideration. The cut off mark for BC/GT/PSTM is 128. Therefore, the petitioner was not selected.
4. The petitioner is not eligible even under the First Generation Graduate Quota. Therefore, the claim of the petitioner is untenable. Consequently, the present writ petition stands dismissed. However, there
shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
