ORDER
With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider representation of the petitioner dated 12.04.2024 and thereby to subdivide and grant patta in respect of 0.07 1⁄2 cents on western side in S.No.1222/9 in Yadhaval Street, Uthiramerur B Village, [Somanathapuram Village], Uthiramerur Town and Taluk, Kanchipuram District.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first and second respondents and perused the materials available on record.
4. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the absolute owner of subject property by a valid sale dated 04.09.1997. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has given representation to the respondents for 2/5
subdivision of the survey number 1222/9 and to transfer the patta from the name of his vendor, the same has not been considered by the respondents till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.04.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
