Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 17.02.2026 to grant 28 days ordinary leave to the Life Convict prisoner Narayanappa, S/o.Yellappa aged about 71 years, PID No.157548 now confined in Central Prison, Vellore to secure the ends of justice. 1/4

2. The petitioner's father, namely Narayanappa, S/o.Yellappa, is undergoing life sentence in the third respondent Prison. He is 71 years old and has undergone 12 years of imprisonment so far. The petitioner seeks 28 days of ordinary leave for her father. It is for the second respondent to take a call on the said request. We direct the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2026 within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
