Ps Standing Counsel ***** C O M M O N O R D E R These instant writ petitions have been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus to direct the respondents to pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum for the belated payment of leave salary, provident fund, gratuity and commutation as sought for in their representations dated 15.04.

18.04.2025, 15.04.2025, 15.04.2025, 15.04.2025, 22.04.2025, 22.04.2025, 21.04.2025, 17.04.2025, 22.04.2025 and 03.04.2025 respectively within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioners that they had retired from the services of the first respondent on 31.05.2023, 30.06.2023, 31.05.2023, 31.05.2023, 31.05.2023, 30.06.2023, 30.06.2023, 30.06.2023, 31.05.2022, 30.06.2023 and 31.05.2023, and made representations dated 15.04.2025, 18.04.2025, 15.04.2025, 15.04.2025, 15.04.2025, 22.04.2025, 22.04.2025, 21.04.2025, 17.04.2025, 22.04.2025 and 03.04.2025 respectively to the respondents seeking interest for the belated payment of the terminal benefits such as leave salary, provident fund, gratuity and commutation, there were no response for the same.

3. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would fairly submit that they would consider the said representations of the petitioners within a reasonable time. 4/7

4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the said fair submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, without going to the merits of these Writ Petitions, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioners' representations dated 15.04.2025, 18.04.2025, 15.04.2025, 15.04.2025, 15.04.2025, 22.04.2025, 22.04.2025, 21.04.2025, 17.04.2025, 22.04.2025 and 03.04.2025 respectively, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. In the result, these Writ Petitions are disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
