This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 26.08.2021 wherein the petitioner has raised objections for granting permission to the fourth respondent to establish his emission testing centre very https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

near to the testing centre belonging to the petitioner.

2. Heard Mr.V.Sakkarapani, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. In the considered view of this Court, there is absolutely no rule prohibiting establishment of emission testing centre within a prohibited distance. This is a case, which has arisen out of some business rivalry and this Court does not find any legal right on the side of the petitioner to seek for a relief prohibiting the official respondents from granting permission to the fourth respondent to establish his emission testing centre.
