Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to restore the advance increment sanctioned to the Petitioner in the year 1987 and continued upto 30.04.2000, but stopped from 01.05.2000 without any proper order or direction, as per the order of this Court in W.P.No.39026 of 2006, dated 25.02.2010 and consequently direct the Respondents to pay the arrears from 01.05.2000 till date with all consequential benefits. When this matter was taken up for hearing today, learned counsel for the Petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition and in this regard, he has sent a letter dated 19.08.2019 to the Registry and has also made an endorsement in the case bundle to the following effect:
