Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus and directing the respondents to survey the land to an extent of 0.75 punjai Acre in Survey No.207/1 situated at Ponneri Village, Tirupathur Taluk, Vellore District purchased by the petitioner by registered Sale Deed dated 30.01.1989 in document No.99/1989 registered in the Sub Registrar Office, Jolarpettai and determine and record the boundaries as per the procedure contained under Section 7, 8 and 9 of the Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923 and issue patta in pursuance of his representation dated 04.04.2018.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to survey the land measuring to an extent of 0.75 punjai Acre in Survey No.207/1 situated at Ponneri Village, Tirupathur Taluk, Vellore District and issue her patta by considering her representation dated 04.04.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 04.04.2018 seeking to survey the land in Survey No.207/1 and issue patta in her favour, but the same is yet to be disposed of by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Heard Mr.E.Balamurugan, Special Government Pleader on behalf of the respondents.

4. It is the fact that there is a dearth of surveyors in many of the Taluk Offices and there are many petitions and requests as that of the petitioner herein waiting their properties to be surveyed. Hence, the first respondent is directed to have a list of such requests and conduct the survey as per the order of priority. However, any such request for survey of the land shall be done, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the persons interested in this regard and also affording them an opportunity of personal hearing, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
