Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner for appointment to the Post of Typist by Direct Recruitment in Group-IV Category based on the Notification issued by the 2nd respondent dated 14.6.2013 by treating the petitioner under the Ex-Serviceman Category.

O R D E R
According to the petitioners, petitioners made representation on 19.6.2014 to the second respondent to appoint to the post of Typist by direct recruitment under Group IV Category based on the notification, dated 14.6.2013 under exserviceman Category. However, no order has been passed on the aforesaid representation. Therefore, the petitioners have filed the present writ petition before this Court for the aforesaid relief.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it is suffice to direct the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner, dated 19.6.2014 within a time as may be fixed by this Court.
3. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on merit, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners, dated 19.6.2014 on merit and in accordance with law, as early as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
