O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent viz.,Mr.Palraman, Tahsildar, Cuddalore for the act of contempt for disobedience of this Court's order in W.P.No.29636/2023 dated 12.12.2023.

2. Heard the petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 7 and also perused the materials available on record.

3. Pursuant to the statutory notice issued by this Court, the 2nd and 3rd respondents/contemnors also appeared before this Court.

4. This Court while disposing of the Writ Petition in W.P.No.29636 of 2023 on 12.12.2023, had directed the 3rd respondent/Tahsildar, Cuddalore to consider if the petitioners make any representation for issuance of Patta 2/4

and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice and giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, 6th respondent herein and interested parties/rival claimants if any as the case may be. Now it is stated by the learned Special Government Pleader that pursuant to the said directions, now orders have been passed vide proceedings No. g/K/M1376-2024 ehs; 20/08/2025 and he also produced a copy of the said proceedings. The same is taken on record. Further, the official respondents also tendered unconditional apology for the delay.

5. As the order of this Court has been duly complied with, contempt is not made out. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed.

6. The personal appearance of the respondents 1 to 3 is dispensed with.
