O R D E R
The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 10.04.2014 for execution of the sale deed in favour of the petitioners for the commercial property plot measuring an extent of 22 sq.mts. (237 sq.ft) situated at Door No.2 Plot No.13A, P.T. Rajan Salai, Kanniyappan Plan Area, Ashok Nagar, Chennai - 600 083.
2. Mr. C. Uma Shankar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that in spite of the fact that the petitioners have given their representation as early as on 10.04.2014 for the execution of the sale deed, the 1st respondent has not passed any order sofar.
3. Mr. S. Prabhu, learned Standing Counsel, appearing for the respondents, submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioners' representation in accordance with law.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioners, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 10.04.2014 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
