(Order of the Court was made by SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY, J.,) This contempt petition was filed alleging wilful disobedience of an order dated 12.02.2021 made in W.P.No.9638 of 2020. By the said order, the third respondent was directed to consider representations dated 15.03.2019, 21.06.2019 and 16.09.2019 and dispose of the same by a speaking order, after providing a reasonable opportunity to the affected parties including the fourth respondent. In the event the petitioner is aggrieved by such decision, it was left open to the petitioner to pursue legal remedies in accordance with law.

2. At the hearing today, learned counsel for contempt petitioner has placed on record an order dated 04.09.2024. A scanned reproduction of the said order is set out below:

3. Learned counsel contends that the order was issued without providing a reasonable opportunity to the contempt petitioner. Since the contempt petitioner's representation was disposed of by such order, in terms of order dated 12.02.2021, it would be open to the contempt 5/7

petitioner to initiate appropriate legal proceedings assailing the order dated 04.09.2024 and to raise the issue relating to not providing a reasonable opportunity to the contempt petitioner in such proceedings.
