Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to transfer the name of the petitioner in the Town Survey Land Register (TSLR) and also to issue patta in the name of the petitioner, concerning the property, to the extent of half the undivided share in the land admeasuring one ground and 1838 sq.ft., comprised in Survey No.273/2A, 273/2B (part), 274 (part), Plot No.575, 4th Sector, 14th Street, K.K.Nagar, Chennai - 600 078, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 24.04.2024. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.04.2024. 3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials available on record.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he made representation before the respondents 1 to 3 to issue patta for his property in Survey Nos.273/2A, 273/2B (part), 274 (part), measuring an extent of 1838 sq.ft., situated at Plot No.575, 4th Sector, 14th Street, K.K.Nagar, Chennai. However, the same has not been considered by them. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.04.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
