This petition is filed under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for appointment of Arbitrator to adjudicate upon the dispute between the petitioners and the respondent and to direct the respondent to pay the cost of the petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as respondent and perused the materials on record.

3.Taking into consideration the nature of dispute and the clause contained in the agreement, I am inclined to allow this petition. Accordingly, Mr.T.N.Rajagopalan, Advocate, 31, Law Chambers, High Court Buildings, Chennai-600 104, Mobile No:9884459893, Email:adv.tn.rajagopalan@gmail.com, is appointed as Arbitrator and the learned Advocate shall conduct the arbitration at Arbitration Centre, Madras High Court, Chennai. The Arbitrator is entitled for fees and travelling allowance, as per the High Court Rules. 4.Post the matter before the Arbitrator on 25.11.2024 and after issuing notice to the parties, the learned Arbitrator shall complete the process within three (3) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 30.10.2024 rgr https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
